A short description about your blog
Antoinette
Being a singer, generally I get to do the really fun part at weddings. About 95% of the weddings I do don't actually feel like work - the wedding guests are usually just up for a good time, and that makes it so nice if the crowd are with you from the get-go. It can make for an amazing night.

There will always be those events however where it is difficult to get the crowd going. All bands, regardless of how good or experienced they are will have 'quiet' nights, or nights where they'll have to work that bit (or that lot!) harder to get a party atmosphere going. (If a band tells you that they've never had a difficult night you can take it that they're not being fully honest with you!).

top-wedding-entrance-songsNow that wedding season is in full swing I'm dealing with a lot of brides who are very anxious about their wedding entrance song. All brides want that perfect wedding entrance song to walk down the aisle to! As I tell every bride & groom, song choice is a matter of preference - the entrance song chosen should always mean something to both bride & groom. (Although in reality, the groom won't always get a say in this one - sorry guys!!)

Most brides will know exactly what song they want to walk down the aisle to, others however are unsure and need a little guidance. (Contrary to what some articles will tell you - not every bride has every little detail of her wedding planned from the time she was 5 years old - so don't stress it if you're one of those brides, your wedding singer will be delighted to guide you in the right direction!).

As such I decided to do a short list of the most popular wedding entrance songs that I've been asked to do by brides and grooms over the years and they are as follows (in no particular order of preference!)

CHOOSING YOUR WEDDING MUSIC

wedding singers irelandSo, you've chosen the date, you've chosen the photographer and you've chosen the church and reception location. One element you'll now need to carefully consider is the music. There are two musical elements to the day - the ceremony and the reception - both of which I'll cover here:
